오늘도 험한 세상 하루를 견디어 갈 뿐입니다. 

 때로는 자신의 존재감을 의심하는 사람들. 

사물을 다르게 보는 사람들. 

규칙을 순응하지 못하는 사람들. 

세상의 속도와 다른 리듬을 가진 사람들. 

남들과 다른 외관으로 무리에서 다르게 보이는 사람들, 

그들은 다르게 창조되고, 태어났습니다. 

우리는 그들을 우리와 다른 사람들이라 부르지 않습니다. 


남들과 다른 하루를 살아내는 사람들이라 말합니다. 

하지만 선함이 강함을 이긴다고 믿고, 

누군가는 해야 되는 일이기에 행하고, 

실패해도, 묵묵하게 자기일을 반복하고, 

함부로 누군가의 마음을 꺾지 않고, 

선함이 세상을 바꾼다는 믿음으로 

반복 속에서 미묘한 차이를 만들어내는 사람들. 

그들은 세상을 바꾸겠다고 외치지 않습니다.


다만 세상을 다르게 살아갑니다. 

 남들과 같은 옷을 입고도,
남들과 전혀 다른 하루를 살아내는 사람들. 그들이 결국 세상을 조금씩 바꾸고 있다는 걸 믿을 뿐입니다. 

 도큐먼트의 스물 두번째 반복과 차이, “To Those Who Remain Unseen” (오늘을 살아가는 보이지 않는 이들에게 )

반복 속에서 발견한 차이, 그리고 100년의 시간이 지난 1930년대 『Labor Anonymous』라는 제목 아래, 

 사진가 , 워커 에반스가 대공황기의 미국에서 출근길 사람들을 바라본 그 시선은
 100여 년이 지난 지금, 우리의 모습과도 겹쳐집니다. 

 익명의 얼굴들과 함께,
우리가 어떻게 살아가는지, 어떻게 걸어가는지를 기록한
존재의 도큐먼트입니다. 우리는 모두 같은 옷을 입지만,
전혀 다른 시간을 통과하고 있습니다.

 A difference discovered in repetition, and a hundred years have passed.


In the 1930s, under the title Labor Anonymous,


photographer Walker Evans captured the workers on their way to work during the Great Depression.


That gaze, from over 100 years ago, still overlaps with how we look today.


But these are people who can never be ignored. 

This season’s lookbook is a document of existence,


capturing how we live, how we walk,


alongside anonymous faces. 

We may wear the same clothes,


but we each pass through entirely different time. 

Today, too, we are simply enduring another harsh day. 

People who sometimes question their own existence.


Those who see things differently.


Round pegs that don’t fit into square holes.


People who can’t conform to rules.


Those who move at a different rhythm from the world.


Those whose appearances set them apart from the crowd. 

They were created and born differently.


But we do not call them different from us.


We call them people who live through different days. Yet,


they believe kindness is strength.
They act because someone must.

Even when they fail, they persist in silence.


They do not easily break someone’s heart.


They believe it is goodness that changes the world.

In repetition, they make subtle differences. 

They do not shout that they will change the world.


They simply live the world differently. 

Though they wear the same clothes,
they live entirely different days. 

We simply believe—
that it is they who are quietly changing the world.
