두 브랜드가 협업을 의논하면서 같이 보았던 다큐멘터리 필름 ' VISUAL ACOUSTIC ' 에서 영화배우인 '더스틴 호프만'이 나레이션을 하는 것에 착안하여 협업의 이름을 짓게 됩니다. 그 이름의 의미는 생산(production)을 담당하는 grds 의 고유의 디자인을 해치지 않으면서, 도큐먼트의 감성을 담담하게 전달하고자 하는 협업의 목적을 나타내고자 하는 두 브랜드의 의지와도 같습니다.
We will name the collaborative work of Dustin Hoffman in the documentary film "VISUAL ACOUSTIC," which we saw together as we discussed the collaboration between the two brands. The meaning of this name is the purpose of collaboration to convey the emotion of 'DOCUMENT' while keeping the original design of 'grds' product responsible for production.
